(RTTNews) – Biotechnology company PharmaCyte Biotech, Inc. (PMCB) announced on Friday that its CEO, Kenneth Waggoner, has stepped down as CEO effective October 6, 2022. The board has subsequently appointed Joshua Silverman as interim CEO. Silverman is currently a director of PharmaCyte and founder and CEO of Parkfield Funding LLC and former principal and managing partner of Iroquois Capital Management, LLC. He was Chief Investment Officer of Iroquois from 2003 to July 2016. From 2000 to 2003, he was Chief Investment Officer of the commercial bank Vertical Ventures, LLC. Prior to founding Iroquois, Silverman was a principal at Joele Frank, a boutique M&A advisory firm. He previously served as Deputy Press Secretary to the President of the United States. The company also announced that its board required a business evaluation committee to evaluate opportunities to achieve optimal shareholder value.
