President Vladimir Putin instructed Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin to keep the implementation of high-tech areas of the economy under special control. He stated this at a meeting of the Council for Strategic Development and National Projects.
„I would ask the Prime Minister to take the implementation of high-tech areas under special control, as it has already happened in the microelectronics development project,” he said.
Putin added that it is necessary to assign a responsible person in the rank of Deputy Prime Minister to each area.
The President continued that it is also necessary to determine the most ambitious indicators based on the current needs of the economy.
